History of the House of Saud
The royal house of Saudi Arabia, whose alliance between Muhammad bin Saud and the preacher Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab began in the 1740s. Abdulaziz ibn Saud reunited the realm and proclaimed the kingdom in 1932, and the throne has since passed among his sons.
