Qin Shi Huang
Life and reign
First emperor of unified China, whose armies finished the conquest of the warring states by 221 BC. He standardized script, weights, measures and axle widths, joined early walls toward the Great Wall, and was buried near the terracotta army of thousands of unique clay soldiers. His dynasty fell four years after his death.
